Aldous Huxleys Novel: Brave New World prophesized a future where we would lose our freedom to repetitive conditioning and mindless entertainment. Anybody watched TV lately? And if Huxley was right, nobody will escape, especially not the Savage.
Two filmmakers set out to find out if television and advertising are the hypnopaedia that Huxley warned of. Using a combination animation, street theatre, sequences scored by the controversial Cassetteboy, interviews with everybody from TV repairmen to Huxley Scholars. This quote is from 'The Doors Of Perception'

But am troubled because my view on this has been slightly challenged recently. In meeting someone, my sureness on the truth of the quote has tricked me (most likely only briefly) to want to deny this for the first time.

The conversation with this person led, both of us as it seemed, to believe that we both understood what both of us thought , for example, feeling alienated from the world and society and trying to search for something more, even though we are not sure at what we're aiming to figure out and... even finishing off each others sentences.

But i am worried that it is just loneliness forcing me to doubt this belief. The noncom programming service will announce Monday that it will, for the first time, stream a show online before it is available on-air. The move comes as the network explores program delivery on multiple platforms and looks to boost its online presence.
